Beta FAQ
Is Orbyn decentralized?
No. Both validators are operated by Orbyn on one physical server. The network is centrally operated and best effort.
Is the network Byzantine fault tolerant?
No. This two-validator configuration does not provide BFT. If one validator cannot participate, block production is expected to stop.
What is the total supply?
The fixed native supply is 1,000,000,000 ORBYN with 18 decimals. The full genesis allocation is assigned to the Orbyn Dev Wallet and is fully unlocked.
Can I use real securities or tokenized stocks?
No. Real securities, tokenized stocks, custody, brokerage, fiat rails, and regulated issuer onboarding are outside Beta scope. ERC-3643 work is limited to sandbox assets.
Is there a bridge?
No bridge is promised in the Beta. Any future bridge requires a separate architecture, review, and audit.
Is GraphQL available?
The subgraph hostname is reserved, but Graph Node and useful subgraph datasets are subject to an activation gate. A DNS record alone does not mean that a public subgraph is active.
Where do I report an outage?
Check the status page and review the operations guide. Do not repeatedly retry a transaction while the chain state is uncertain.
